This is a simple zombie survival game.
Description
In development. I designed Last Home for two purposes. The first is that zombie AI is relatively simple, so I took this opportunity to learn AI in Unreal Engine. The second reason is to learn basic procedural generation. In Last Home, players must defend a settlement from a zombie hoard during the night. Players use resources to build their fortificaitons and defence tools. During the day, players search a procedurally generated town for resources. Players can find three main items, food (used for healing themselves and team), scrap (used to upgrade their barricade), and defence parts (used for upgrading their weapons and tools). The gameplay loop was simply a cycle of these two stages, where the diffuculty gets progressively harder. This game was partially inspired by the Flash game classic, "Last Stand".
