Summary
I designed a PAC-MAN inspired video game to spread awareness about the Covid-19 pandemic.
Description
Sole designer and developer of UE4 video game: Mechanisms of Covid. This project was used to spread awareness of the COVID-19 pathogen during a Mechanisms of Disease course. Players avoided the pandemic by dodging AI who had the virus. To win, players collected supplies. When all supplies were collected, players had to find the vaccine. Players could use respiratory masks to avoid contracting Covid from sick AI. Players had to regularly replace their mask to maintain safety. The game presented up-to-date facts (as was understood at the time) to players after the game was completed. Information about Covid was collected from sources such as the CDC and WHO by myself and Seth Shearin.
