Summary

Liar's Tower is a 3D printing project where I wanted to create a "dice drop" structure.

Description

Dice drop structures are some sort of tower where dice can be inserted in the top and randomized before hitting the bottom. For Liar's Tower, dice fell straight down, hitting off internal bars to randomize the dice. Players could cover the back of their tower to hide their dice, but still see them from the front. The tower was designed for Liar's Dice, a game where the opponents must guess how many dice show a certain number on the table. Several iterations were made, including designs where the internal bars were printed, and others where the internal bars were glued. The latter was best because the printed bars caused issues with scaffolding. This was a simple project that inspired the later work on the board game, Fuedal.
